Welcome to L and S Furniture. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, your purchases of our products, and your relationship with L and S Furniture ("we," "us," or "our").

By browsing our website, visiting our showroom, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before completing a purchase.

1. Accuracy of Product Information & Variations

We make every effort to display the colors, textures, and dimensions of our furniture as accurately as possible. However:

Screen Displays: We cannot guarantee that your device’s display will perfectly reflect the actual color of the fabric or material.
Natural Materials: Many of our pieces are crafted from natural solid wood, stone, or leather. Natural variations in wood grain, knots, marble veining, and leather scarring are inherent characteristics of these materials and are not considered manufacturing defects.

2. Pricing and Payment

Currency & Taxes: All prices listed are in £GBP and exclude applicable shipping costs and sales tax unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Errors: In the rare event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed for that product and issue a full refund.
Payment Terms: Full payment is required at the time of purchase unless financing options have been formally approved. Orders will not be dispatched or scheduled for delivery until payment clears.

3. Delivery, Shipping, and Property Access

Furniture is heavy and large, which means successful delivery requires a partnership between L and S Furniture and you.

Your Delivery Responsibilities

Before scheduling your delivery, you must ensure that:

The ordered furniture can fit through all entryways, hallways, stairwells, and doorways.
Your pathways and delivery areas are clear of obstacles.
An adult (18 years or older) is present during the designated delivery window to sign for the items.

Failed Delivery Fee: If a delivery cannot be completed because the items will not physically fit into your home, because no one was home, or because the environment was unsafe, you will be charged a re-delivery or return freight fee.

4. Title and Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and title for the furniture pass to you upon delivery to your specified address. If you choose to pick up your furniture directly from our warehouse or showroom, risk of loss passes to you the moment the items are loaded onto your vehicle.

5. Orders, Changes, and Cancellations

Standard Items: You may modify or cancel an order for standard stock items within [Insert Number, e.g., 24 or 48] hours of placing it without penalty.
Custom / Made-to-Order Items: Production on custom upholstered pieces or bespoke builds begins immediately. Therefore, custom orders cannot be modified, canceled, or refunded once production has commenced.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on our website—including furniture designs, product photography, logos, text, graphics, and layout—is the exclusive property of L and S Furniture and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our express written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, L and S Furniture shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website, the delayed delivery of furniture, or the use of any products purchased from us. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms at any time by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or services following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
